U10’s: 10.45am to 12.45pm
Location: The Cooper School, Bicester (OX26 4RS)
**NO DOGS allowed on The Cooper School grounds.**
Parking: will be tight on the day, as there is also a dance event at the school. Please look to car share wherever possible, and use the spaces on the netball courts at the end of the astro as first choice before parking in the main car park.
Refreshments: There will be a BBQ and refreshments available all day on site.
Umpires: Bicester will look to provide umpires for all age groups but may need some support with U8s. We have young umpires lined up to help again this year, so please be supportive and encouraging!
Rules: Due to the short length of matches we will NOT be running Short Corners and for U10s propose to have a free hit 5m outside the 'D' that can go directly into the circle. For U12s we propose to have a penalty shuffle (that can be upgraded to a stroke) to save some time and to keep the scores ticking over! This has been used at a few of the U12 T3 league fixtures and proved to be fun and easy enough to umpire.
We'll hold a coaches briefing 15 mins before each session to clarify rules.
Medals: For all U8s and Pool Winners for U10s and U12s. Please collect from the central timing desk.
